Adaptec provides business software, websites, hosting, email, automation and related managed services. For privacy queries, contact us through the website contact form or by emailing Adaptec from the address used for your customer account.

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, company details, billing details, service requirements, support messages, order and invoice records, payment references, login/account information, technical logs, device/browser information and information needed to deliver the services you request.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, create and manage customer accounts, process orders and invoices, manage PayFast payment references, provide support, deliver services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations and improve our systems.
4. Payment information
Online payments are processed through PayFast. Adaptec does not store customer card details. We store appropriate payment references, statuses, invoice links and audit information needed for accounting, support and service activation.
5. Sharing information
We only share information where necessary to provide services, process payments, meet legal/accounting duties, use infrastructure and communication providers, or protect our rights and systems. Suppliers must only use the information for the required purpose.
6. Security and retention
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access control, HTTPS, server-side validation and audit records. We keep records for as long as required for service delivery, support, accounting, legal compliance and legitimate business purposes.
